Prior to work as a journalist, I taught a variety of courses to undergraduates as a lecturer in environmental sciences, biology, and ecology at UBC, SFU, and York University. An engaging and enthusiastic public speaker, I won several awards for public speaking at international conferences during my graduate studies.
I aim to get kids and adults excited and curious about science careers. My goal is to advance skills in creative science communication. Talks tailored to any age group.
