Editing

From April 2022 to December 2024, I was the features editor at BioScience, published by the American Institute of Biological Sciences (AIBS). Until the feature section was shuttered in December 2024, BioScience published one journalistic feature per issue (each month) for an audience of professional biologists.

During my time at BioScience I was thrilled to have the opportunity to edit the work of seasoned journalists and mentor many talented new science writers.

I remain available for freelance editing. I enjoy helping fellow writers make their words sing.
